Intermediate Yoga

After establishing a solid background in beginner sequences, learning the language and poses, and most importantly how you feel within classes and flows you may be asking yourself what’s next? Enter intermediate vinyasa flow: a faster pace that offers deeper levels of poses. This next level will help you to facilitate a stronger connection to your mind and body, challenging your strength and testing flexibility. Choose your practice below and so much more on my Youtube channel.

This is a 15 minute heart-pumping yoga HIIT flow that will get everything moving in the right way! Yoga HIIT is based on familiar yoga moves but includes a bit more cardio and body weight pulses to really get your heart pumping and help build strength. You will certainly feel alive at the end of this flow!

Here's a balancing yoga sequence to help you feel great from head to toe. Minimal props are needed, just an optional yoga block. For this yoga practice, we'll work in some twists then lean into the strength of our leg, arm, and core muscles. As always, a vinyasa practicing can be challenging and invigorating but pain free. Take breaks and modifications as needed, and remember to breathe evenly. Hope you enjoy!

Give your body and hips a little love with this grounding yoga flow for hip strengthening and release! Everyone knows we store our emotions in our hips and with all the extra sitting we do, it can feel really good to stretch out all those shortened muscle fibers. Besides, who doesn't have 30 minutes to give your body some good loving?!

In this 25-minute spicy Mandala Yoga Flow we work through the hamstrings and add a few strength based elements to keep up the heat! I've included options to add headstand and handstand into the practice if you're working on more advanced asana.
