Justin and I are prepping to host our very first proper holiday in our new home which is equal parts exciting and nerve wracking. This will also be our biggest Thanksgiving at thirteen, we’re mighty grateful to have such a large family.
As with all of our events, I love to plan a solid tablescape along with a heavy hitting menu (with Justin’s approval and input of course, since we all know he’s going to do 80% of the cooking).
I thought it would be a fresh take to incorporate a bit of black into our table with a buffalo check black and white table throw layered under brown butcher’s paper as a runner. We’re adding in gold accents and flat glassware to elevate the overall look.
What do you think? Are you planning out your table too?
Seeing all the elements come together is a thrill, knowing that our guests will feel welcomed and comfortable to enjoy our meal and the company to the fullest.
These clean and streamlined plates are perfect for any event, great for everyday or for hosting.
Love these elevated wine glasses (just need them to arrive); it’s a fresh look to modernize your table.
Still can’t get over this flatware.
Greenery always keeps things looking fresh and these leaves are perfect for the season.
Minimalist vase for the holidays and everyday, pulls serious double duty.
This decor are great for Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Place cards provide your guests with a place to claim as their own and an opportunity to share gratitude.
Mimicking the buffalo pattern in the napkins is an unexpected pop of pattern in a contrasting color.
I’ve opted to drape this tablecloth at an angle while layered under brown paper to pull the color palate together.
I’m so very grateful to have you here and to share our growing traditions.
With deep love,
Paige
